Fender Songs can be used without a paid Apple Music subscription but we highly recommend using Apple Music to hear and reference real song audio for the best possible experience. Start your free trial of Apple Music today.
In order to enable Apple Music, you can follow steps from first app installation, or you can go to More > My Music, or from any of the other in-app prompts, in order to allow access to your Apple Music library.
Keep in mind that an Apple Music subscription (real audio streaming) is different from a Fender Songs subscription (access to premium catalog of chords and lyrics) and comes with it's own terms of services and subscription fees.
To connect to Apple Music, simply tap the Connect button, and then give access to your library. You should now be able to play back real audio!
